Balsa wood, hot glue, and paper 
Dimensions: 3.5 x 2.5 in and 10 x 5 in

For this project we had to create two sculptures out of Balsa Wood.

Floating Architecture Materials used: Cardboard, ink, gestapo. Dimensions: 3ft x 4ft For this assignment, we had to choose two architecture styles to create a sculpture. I based my sculpture off of the Neo-Gothic and Classical styles. Choosing Neo-gothic, I wanted to choose a dark themed style since I wanted to play around with the eerie vibe. "The body is the primary mode of perceiving scale."- Susan Stewart While walking the shoreline, I noticed how vast the ocean is compared to myself. It really blows my mind at how small humans are to earth's natural elements. I chose this image for this sentence because without experiencing in person how massive the ocean really is compared to my body I wouldn't of gained an understanding of how small humans really are in the world.
